Software delivery
From commit to production: build, test, release, and the evidence trail that shows what shipped and why. Fewer hand-offs, faster feedback, and delivery that holds up to an audit.

Notes and working opinions from a platform engineer on the software development lifecycle, internal developer platforms, and putting agents to work in real delivery pipelines.
01 · Practice
From commit to production: build, test, release, and the evidence trail that shows what shipped and why. Fewer hand-offs, faster feedback, and delivery that holds up to an audit.
Internal developer tooling that other teams choose to use. Paved roads, sensible defaults, and a platform run like a product, with real users and a real feedback loop.
Putting autonomous agents to work inside real delivery workflows, with the context, guardrails and review that make their output trustworthy rather than merely fast.
03 · Side projects
Outside work I keep a project of my own going, and it sits where three interests meet.
Making places, routes and geography easier to see, explore and plan around.
Working in three dimensions: modelling spaces and objects, and learning what it takes to get them right.
Building with AI coding tools and agents, and finding out where they help and where they need a firm hand.
04 · About
I'm a full-stack developer and platform engineer, based in London. My day job is building internal developer tooling for other engineering teams, which means I spend a lot of time on the unglamorous parts of software delivery that decide whether a team ships calmly or painfully.
I write here to think in public: what works in the delivery lifecycle, what a good platform feels like from the user's side, and what changes when autonomous agents join the team. Opinions are earned from practice, and I try to say what I've seen rather than what's fashionable.
Away from the keyboard I'm outdoorsy and adventurous. I enjoy hiking, sport, photography and anything that gets me outside.
